RazzGirl of the Month

ANNA DE RIJK-- As my friends and I sipped champagne at Christian Louboutin’s Fashion’s Night Out party, we realized that “perfect” girls surrounded us. You know the type—every body does. Whether it’s their outfit that you inspect from head to toe, their figure that makes you want to leave and hit the treadmill right then and there, or the gorgeous man they have on their arm… they are way too over-populated in NYC.  Either way, a lot of them you could say are my friends. I respect them. I mean, they must be doing something right… However if you look past all of that jealousy and homicidal plotting you will see a brilliantly constructed outfit, a unique personality, and a bright-eyed girl just trying to make a name for herself in a city so big as New York. To understand more specifically what I am talking about, we are going to feature a RazzGirl of the month.

This week we were stunned by Anna de Rijk's poise and style as she entered Theory for FNO.  She’s a 22-year-old model at DNA Management in New York. She was born in the Netherlands and has since walked for the likes of; Prada, Blumarine, Christopher Kane, Lanvin, and Louis Vuitton. We spoke with her briefly about her transition to NYC and she was so sweet and genuine—even if her English needed some work. Her outfit was so different; from purple suede pants with a hippie color print to her cropped blue jean jacket you would think it would be recipe for disaster. She looked natural though; her outfit epitomizes her personality and European influenced style. She is absolutely beautiful—even some of her best modeling shots don’t even do her justice.
